1. Block Chain – Smart Contract Project

What is the project about

This is a individual work, that was about approached solutions to transform the business model by digital and new technologies in insurance industry, in which Blockchain is considered as an innovation which provide the transparent and consensus information, or in another words, the innovators, especially in insurance industry are considering Blockchain is a future which can disrupt of what is known about the digital world.

What is my role

This project is part of the module called Project Management, that I carried out during the time I did the Master of Business Informatics course, in which this project aims to dominate the Blockchain framework Hyperledger Fabric 1.0 to implement to Life Insurance company to improve the insurance claiming process with a decentralized protocol, in which this implemented solution will shorten the claiming time, fasten the information verification between stakeholder and increase the customer satisfaction rate.

I was involved as a project manager who will get the support from the Life Insurance company that will consider and apply my nominated solution to their daily claiming process.

2. Innovation Strategy Research for a Travel Group

What is the project about

This is a group work, part of Enterprise Innovation Module, which is in a project of R&D activity, in which this report will be submit to the Board of Directors outlining the innovation strategy and the plan to implement this strategy for a travel company called Expedia Group. We, 5 of people, did examine and critique innovation theories, concepts, tools and look at ways in which we can harness the innovation and measure its success.

What is my role

My role in this project was collaborating with whole team to do the market research, carrying out the SWOT analyst of Expedia Group, throughout, we outlined an innovation strategy to implement to this company, in order to improve their operation and attract more customers as well maintain the retention.

Project Details

The strategy considered as a semi-radical innovation aims to pair the tourists from different countries with same destination, similar preference, and habit or matched in the tangible and real needs by using Artificial intelligence, Big Data and Business Intelligence to analyst and connect people who intent to choose a partner to travel with from around the world and offer them the best trip plan with their own preference. This will be a Play-To-Win Strategy because:

  • considerable ways to make changes and we are operating in a less mature market
  • more dynamic competitive environment. 
  • can bring significant opportunity for innovation to drive higher levels of growth.
  • focus on building high potential brands and growth platforms best fits the objectives

3. Digital Transformation project for Aviva insurance

What is the project about

The project is about the new strategic plan defined for Aviva insurance company by applying the digital and new technology to improve the business, even boost up to get the better in the future, remaining the leading position, existing market and expanding further to another market.

What is my role

My role in this project was doing the market research aligning with deep analyzing company performance and the new technologies in the open market such as Blockchain, Automotive, Wearable to come up with an innovation strategy to implement to an insurance company, in order to improve their operation and performance in next 3-5 years.

This project aims to increase the revenue with products tailored by customers’ usages and conditions, create Omni channel by putting digital to capitalize the way to offer to customers with high satisfaction, and create peer to peer model by a trust and exchange value to customer limiting an intermediate third party and dealing directly with customers.

4. Software development project in past working

What is the project about

This project was a part of my previous job, which was a Research and Development (R&D) department of an software company. The team R&D was about 10 people who would do the research and develop the software that matching with the market and consumer’s trend. Especially, there were several developed softwares, such as Chatbot for insurance company, Chatbot for Real Estate, Blockchain or recruitment platform. Those project were developed for consuming, in other word, the outcome would be introduced to market and implemented to the clients who need and use them.

What is my role

In this project, my role was playing as Software Business Analyst, who had extensive exposure to managing software development projects through Agile processes and be able to navigate the way through complex environments, leading teams internally and externally to create the best outcomes possible. conduct market analyses, analysing both product lines and the overall profitability of the business. In addition, I develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met. I helped to shape the project from its very inception by facilitating communication between the development team, and executives.

Research and development (R&D) includes activities that companies undertake to innovate and introduce new products and services. It is often the first stage in the development process. The goal is typically to take new products and services to market and add to the company’s bottom line. R&D represents the activities companies undertake to innovate and introduce new products and services or to improve their existing offerings. R&D allows a company to stay ahead of its competition.

The new softwares as Chatbot, Blockchain, Recruitment platforms our team did introduce to market were significant bring the revenue and reputation to company for the quality and the advance features. Besides, we received the good feedback from customer as well as the corporate for our hard-word, innovation, customer-orientation and quality-orientation.
